DuraCoat® by Lauer Custom Weaponry is used for all our firearm finishes. This provides a lasting, durable finish that is completely resistant to extreme temperatures, rain, ice, salt spray and corrosion. It also provides an impermeable barrier against lubricants, cutting oils, bore solvents and other chemicals. DuraCoat® provides excellent impact, mar, and abrasion resistance that are a must in hunting, tactical and law enforcement environments. With normal use, the finish on your firearm should last several lifetimes. Each part is cleaned, degreased, blasted and parkerized where applicable. This prepares the surface to allow maximum adhesion. DuraCoat® is then applied, oven cured at a low temperature and all parts are inspected for quality. The final result is a finish that is not only beautiful but is also extremely durable and can be had in an infinite number of color/camouflage combinations.
